Spend Time with God Himself

John 1:1 (AMP)
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
God is sitting and waiting for you to spend time with Him.  He is right there next to you.  God is the Word, and the Word is God.  When we pick up the Word and spend time reading it, we are actually spending time with God Himself.
The reverse is true as well.  When we ignore the Word we are ignoring God Himself.  To be without the Word is to be without God.
Choose to spend some time with God today.  Pick up the Word and choose Him.  
Read John 1 and see how the Word even became flesh and lived among us for a while.

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us
