Always Confident

Always Confident
So we are always confident knowing… 2 Cor. 5:6
Confidence is not a feeling nor is it an assurance based upon circumstances. Neither confidence nor the lack of confidence is determined by circumstances. How is it possible to be confident always? This verse in 2 Cor. 5:6 teaches us how: by knowingKnowing the Bible produces confidence in our lives.

Jesus did not tell us that the truth would make us free, He said knowing the truth would make us free. Our knowledge of the faithfulness of God and His promises will carry us through the adversities of life.
Confidence must not be based on something that shifts and moves from day to day, but on the rock solid foundation of the Word of God. When our confidence is in the Lord and in His Word, we can be certain He will come through.
