Gambling for God

What?!  Yes, I did entitle that the right way.  Gambling for God.  You see, it is a new day.  Yesterday is gone, and the new day is here.  We have an opportunity to gamble for God today.  What do I mean by gambling for God?  I mean, what He asks of you and I today is going to seem whacko to our minds, but that’s because He is wanting us to take a risk.  To dare and believe that what He says, He will do.  

You know what? The Word of God is plum full of ordinary people that were given opportunities to gamble for God.  Think about Moses going into Egypt.  1 man with a stuttering problem; going in before the most powerful man in the world at that time and saying on behalf of God, “let my people go.”  1 man’s gambling for God set over 2 million people that had been slaves for 400 plus years, free. 

Think about little sheep whisperer David!  Here He is, a young boy, out in the pasture with all the baaaaaa, baaaaaaaaaa, going on all day everyday and God simply orchestrates an opportunity for someone to gamble for Him.  What had an entire army of grown men, cowering in their holes, God sent in a young boy to destroy the enemy.  David could have wimped out like the rest of them guys but instead, He experienced a jackpot.  David went all in with God and experienced first hand what its like to destroy a giant.  


I don’t know about you, but as for me, i want to be a risk taker this year. 2015 is a new beginning.  God has extraordinary things in store for you and I if we will get on His bandwagon.  It’s gonna require us to go all in. Stop settling for what’s comfy.  Take a gamble and do what God is telling you to do today.  There is a jackpot fixing to explode in your life!
