SURE VICTORY!

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. (Joshua 1:8 NLT)

We all want to have success and see victory in our life. But how many times does The Lord speak something to you and give you direction, only to have trouble or pressure come and there is no victory?

If you read the stories of the Children of Israel in Exodus, you will see that time and time again. The Lord gave them direction and a promise of victory only to see them come up to a challenge and forget all about the word from God. This of course, only led them further and further away from what God promised. The people who refused to believe God and His word and chose to respond to the trouble in front of them, never saw the fullness of what God promised.

So how do we ensure that this doesn’t happen to us? How do we stay in a place where trouble can’t move us? By staying IN THE WORD! Joshua said to keep it before you day and night! Meditated on it, think about it, keep His Word at the front of your mind. Then, when pressure comes to steal that promise from you, you will be so rooted in the Word that it can’t be taken!

Take time today to get in His word and see what it says to YOU! Write it down or find a way to help keep that word in the front of your mind so you can meditate on it day and night!
