God Who Answers Prayers

God Who Answers Prayers

Have you ever worked, worked, worked, worked, and worked only to realize that you still haven’t accomplished what it is you are trying to accomplish and you still need to work some more?!  Yep!  Been there and done that!  How many times have I jumped in the car and left God at the table where He was going to be giving me some wisdom for the day ahead of me?!  Far to much!

I am writing today to encourage you to talk to God today.  Did you know that He has an answer for all our questions?!  There are things that we are desiring and are not sure how to accomplish them but if we will ask, He will answer!

I will give you a quick testimony.  Just recently, Joanie and I were sideswiped by this holiday that everyone calls Christmas!  It came out of no where!  I think just last week we were up in Branson for Champions for Christ youth rally!  (Not really…it was actually in July). Anyways, as you know, Christmas is next week!

Joanie and I were not in a place to buy each other gifts, let alone other people so you know what we did?  We asked the Lord.  We simply asked for His help, and His wisdom on what to do.  He answered!!  He showed us some things in our home that have been just sitting around and we sold them.  Joanie went to a party and won $50 dollars in gift cards.  She received a bonus from her work. We went to the church and there was a card for us with 100 dollars in it!!

I received a text from my in laws saying they wanted to help us with Christmas and pay for our gas on the way home from Iowa!! All these things happened within the last week!  You know that God will help you if you just ask Him to!?  He wants to be involved with you today!  Don’t go and leave Him at home while you go and try to make things happen!  Let Him be apart!  He created this day just for you and knows what is going to make you tick!  Just ask Him!
I will leave you with this!

This is Psalms 18:6 MSG
A hostile world! I call to God,
    I cry to God to help me.
From his palace he hears my call;
    my cry brings me right into his presence—
    a private audience!
