What Do You See?

What Do You See?

Oh, how I wish I could share a video with you of my 3 year old granddaughter, Laney Kaye, singing, “Going on a Bear Hunt”. She rocked it! “Going on a bear hunt, going on a bear hunt”, she sang as she threw her little hand up above her big blue eyes looking out into the woods, asking, “What do you see? What do you see?” Cutest thing ever!

That’s the question for today. What do you see? What are your most prevelant thoughts? Whether you realize it or not, you are carrying a vision on the inside of you, and what you “see” determines everything about the life you experience here on earth. What you are seeing is where you are going!

Pastor Nate made this statement in a message, “When all I can see is what I’ve already seen, hopelessness sets in.” This is the absolute Truth. If the vision we carry on the inside of us is nothing more than what we’ve already seen, we are only existing in this world. We are not thriving. We are not increasing. We are living day to day and allowing the circumstances of life to dictate our quality of life as well as define our very existence. If hopelessness describes your present condition, today is your day!

If the vision we carry is not a vision of the abundant life that Jesus came to give us - John 10:10, then we must get a new vision! And yes, I said ABUNDANT LIFE. That’s the Word of God, folks. That’s not my word or my opinion. That is God’s Word. If that terminology and that kind of preaching bothers you, then you need to take it up with God because Him being good to us and providing an abundant life - to the full - until it overflows was His idea, not mine. If we’re not experiencing abundant life, it is because it is not the vision we carry. It is not what we “see”.

So, how do we change that? We need an agent of change. That agent is God’s Word! Let’s get in the Word like never before! Let’s have the audacity to believe what God says about Himself and what He says about us. Let’s let that Word dwell/abide richly in our hearts until we cannot SEE it any other way!! With the eyes of faith, we will begin to see the abundant life that Jesus came to give us and that vision will begin manifesting in our lives, I believe, at an astonishing rate of speed.

This is the Father’s cry - to manifest His glory in your life! Right now! This year! Moses cried to The Lord, “Show me your glory!” God said, “I will show you my goodness.” God called His glory His goodness! His goodness! God is no respecter of persons! If God showed Moses His goodness on that side of the cross, I can assure you that God’s desire and will to show YOU His goodness is even greater because of the Blood of Jesus! Glory!! That was His plan!

I declare God’s glory over you and your family today! God’s glory - His manifested goodness. Go ahead and and get your hopes up! Go ahead and let the anchor of your soul - God’s Word (Hebrews 6:19), produce the expectation of good, of abundant life, in you! Go ahead and expect the God of glory to invade your life! Go ahead and see with the eyes of faith the goodness of your great God and be ready to experience His goodness like never before!
