Have Yourself a Care Casting Party

Have you ever been the type to read 1st Peter 5:7 where it talks about casting your cares only to pick them up like 10 seconds later!?  Of course you have! Guess what!? ME TOO!

God never said that casting our care would be easy.  This world we live in has trained us to care, care, care, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. We care about our families, our business deals, our financial situations, our grass getting cut, and so on and so forth, but according to the Word of God, we were never meant to care for any of that stuff!  Here is what 1st Peter 5:6-7 ESV says: Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time, he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because He cares for you.

If we want to cast some cares on Him, we are going to have to first humble ourselves enough to say that He can control our mess.   There is nothing too big for Him so I say, lets take the full load of cares that we have and send them His way.  He will do all the caring we need!
