Full of it
I am sure that you have heard this statement…"is the
cup half full or half empty?“ We live in
a world where I would venture to say that most of the time, we live life
halfway filled up, but not brimming over by any means. Whether it be cares that we take on, the
people we do life with, the current circumstances we are facing, sometimes this
world throws us some pretty hefty curve balls.
I am encouraged by a prayer that Paul prayed in Colossians
1:9-10:
9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first
heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to
give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 Then the way you live will
always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of
good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and
better.
As you can see by the image above, the cup is completely
full. This is how God wants me and
you. Completely full of the knowledge of
His will, spiritual wisdom, and understanding.
One thing I see with God is that He doesn’t partially do
anything. He goes all in on everything
that He does concerning you and I. Thats
awesome!! In other words, when you are
feeling empty or like you are running low on fuel to keep going, you can remind
yourself of this prayer and say "God! I thank you that I am completely
FULL of your knowledge, spiritual wisdom and understanding!”
The knowledge of Gods will…WOW! The spiritual wisdom of Gods
will…WOW!! Complete understanding of Gods will…WOW!! God doesn’t want us
wondering what His will is! He wants you
knowing it in complete fullness!! How do
you know someones will or intentions?? YA HANG OUT WITH THEM!! God wants us full. Not just nibbling but so loaded up that you
could feed an army! Spend some time
today meditating what the fullness of His will in your life looks like! According to His word, you will begin to live
very fruitful!
