He is Who He says He is
I am going to start this off by asking a question. What is your perception of Jesus Christ? In todays fast paced society, we see that
question often answered two ways.
Truthfully and opinionated.
Recently I was reading in 2 Corinthians 5:16 where I came across a
scripture that jumped out at me. The
passage said, "So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of
view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How
differently we know him now!"
Now I am going to ask you another question. Are you evaluating Jesus Christ from a merely
human point of view?! This is where we
begin to miss out on the exponential gift that He is too us! When we read God's Word, we see that there
were times where Jesus was "in the crowd" but people...people dealing
with real problems, people that were broken inside, people that were struggling
with insecurities and unforgiveness, people that had addictions to bad things,
and people that He genuinely wanted to impact, failed to experience the gift of
Jesus because they viewed Him from merely a human point of view.
We need to realize that in order for God to have maximum
impact in our lives, we have to see His gift beyond merely human
capability...we can forgive because He forgave. We can be love because He
loved. We can serve because He served.
There never has been anything and never will be anything ordinary about
Him.
We need to see Him accurately if we are going to experience
His supernatural power in our lives. How do we see Him accurately? Spend time with Him. Quality time is the best way for us to see
Him for who He really is. Take time and make time for Him today. He will be obliged to show you who He really
is!!
