I Will Fight

In this life, one thing is for sure and that is that there is going to be opposition that arises to challenge our faith.  Its nothing new.  There is an enemy that has made it his purpose to steal from us, kill us, and destroy us.  I have some very good news for you though! Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world!  

Look at 1st Samuel 17:32-33, We see a perfect picture of what we face everyday.  There is divine calling on the inside of us that says I will fight!  Also, there is the negative influence against us that says "NO!"" You can't do that!" In this story, David...The young man that was rejected by his family, the young man that was rejected by the king that He faithfully served, and the young man that was mocked and rejected by the enemy, chose to believe what God said over what man said.  Everyone told him that He couldn't kill Goliath but David had already been stamped with approval by God.  Today, know that you are already stamped with approval from God to take action. Faith doesn't run from opposition, Faith runs at and overcomes opposition.  

I believe that God is stirring hearts to action.  I picture it in movie sense.  No one would go watch a movie of someone that just sits in a seat, reads a book, and sips on tea, which seems to be the story of many Christians...myself included. (We see problems that scream non-stop for our attention but we have no idea how God could use us to fix it).  But, people pay millions of dollars every year to get a front row seat to action.  Things with big booms, and fast pace, and getaways, and triumph!  I believe with all my heart that the Lord is looking for us to stand up and say, "I will fight."  Did you know that you are the main actor in your action movie!? You are not just an extra...You are the main role that God wants to use to destroy the enemy and when you stand up and fight, it triggers others to step up to the high calling and destroy the enemy as well.  Its exactly what happened when David ran and killed Goliath.  Everyone in Gods army came unglued from their seats and moved to action! They chased and overthrew the opposition that was against them! If God can use a little shepherd boy to kill oppressing giants, He can use us to do the same today.  We can't fight sitting down.  Stand up and make this your declaration! "I Will Fight!"
